Etsy jewelry photo requirements
Etsy product images need at least 635 px on the shortest side, 2000 px or more recommended. Every rule below links to Etsy’s own page, checked October 5, 2026.

AI-edited and rendered images on Etsy
Etsy requires original photos of the actual piece the buyer will receive, not renderings or stock photos, and made-by-seller jewelry must use original photos of the final product. Etsy sets no rule on AI-assisted photo editing, but items created with AI must be disclosed in the listing. For personalised or engraved pieces, the first image must be a real finished item; mockups are allowed only in additional images.
Whatever a marketplace allows, buyers return jewelry that does not match its photos. Start from a real photo of the actual piece, keep the metal, stones and size accurate, and use editing for the background, lighting and presentation.
