AI jewelry photos on WhatsApp Business: what’s allowed

WhatsApp's catalog help pages, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, Meta's Commerce Policies and Meta's catalog image specifications set no rule for or against AI-generated or AI-edited images, and none asks you to label them. What Meta does require is accuracy: catalog images "must accurately represent the specific product for sale," and commerce content "may not contain misleading" products and offers. In the WhatsApp Business app, every image is reviewed against the Messaging Policy before the item is shown to customers. For a jewelry seller, an edited photo has to show the actual piece being sold.

The jewelry photos that do well on WhatsApp Business start as a real photo of the piece you are selling. From there, AI photo editing does the slow work: it swaps a cluttered table for a clean white or styled background, evens out the lighting, brings back the sparkle in the stones and can show the piece worn on a model. What stays the same is the piece itself, so check that the metal color, stone count and size in the finished image match what the buyer will open.

That is how Hues works. You upload your own product photo, and every image it makes is built from that photo, ready for your WhatsApp Business listing.
