Jewelry image checker

Check a jewelry product photo against a marketplace’s image rules before you list it: pixel size, aspect ratio, file type and size, white background and how much of the frame the piece fills. Pick the marketplace, choose your main image, and read the result.

Your photo is checked in your browser and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

No. The checker reads the image inside your browser to measure its size, background and fill. Nothing is sent to a server.

It samples the outer edge of the photo to find the background colour, counts how much of that edge is white, and treats any clearly different pixels as the product to estimate how much of the frame it fills. It works best on a single piece on a plain backdrop, which is what a main listing image should be.

Most marketplaces apply their strictest rules (white background, product fill, no text) to the main image only. Additional images can usually show the piece worn, in a scene or in detail. Each marketplace page lists the rules and links to the official source.

Rules differ by marketplace and change often. The safe approach is to start from a real photo of the actual piece and keep the item accurate. Each marketplace page summarises its current stance on AI and rendered images, with the source.
