Alternatives

Pebblely alternatives for jewelry: what to use instead

Pebblely is a quick way to put a product on an AI background, and it has a jewelry category. Jewelry sellers usually look for an alternative for one of three reasons: Pebblely offers no free trial, its credits don't roll over, and it doesn't put a piece on a person or on your own photo. The alternatives below cover those gaps: Hues AI for jewelry try-on, retouching and video in one studio, Photta for on-model jewelry shots, Claid for upscaling and a broad editing toolkit, and Mokker for template-driven backgrounds. Hues AI is our own product; every other figure here is as the vendor publishes it.

1

Hues AI

Our pick

Best for Jewelers who want try-on, retouching and backgrounds in one studio, with a free start

Built only for jewelry. Where Pebblely stops at the background, Hues also puts the piece on a model or on your own photo (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and sets), retouches dust and glare, changes metal color, renders from a CAD screenshot or a sketch, and makes product video. New accounts get 80 free credits after email verification with no card, and credits are bought once rather than as a monthly plan.

2

Photta

Best for Sellers who want jewelry on AI hands and models

Has a dedicated Jewelry Studio for rings, necklaces and bracelets on AI-generated hand and body models, and lists AI Jewelry Try-On on every paid plan. Unlike Pebblely it has a free start: 20 credits after onboarding, about 4 to 5 images, with a watermark. Paid plans run from $14 a month (Hobby, 150 credits).

3

Claid.ai

Best for Upscaling and general product edits with an API

A broad toolkit rather than a jewelry tool: upscaling, background removal, AI Photoshoot, AI Fashion, AI Video and an API. It has a free tier of 50 credits. Essentials is $15 a month billed monthly or $9 billed yearly for 500 credits at standard resolution up to 2K.

4

Mokker

Best for Background scenes from a large template library

The closest like-for-like swap: AI backgrounds from 100+ templates, plus moodboard references and resizing. Starter is $19.99 billed monthly or $13 a month billed annually for 500 photos a month. Its homepage notes that Mokker is joining forces with soona.

What Pebblely does well

Pebblely turns one product photo into styled scenes with shadows and reflections, and lets you steer them with prompts, style images and brand colors. It has jewelry and necklace categories, including templates that place a necklace on a model's neck, and bulk generation from the Basic plan up. Its FAQ is clear that you own the photos you generate.

Why jewelry sellers look for an alternative

  • No free trial: the pricing FAQ says "We do not offer free trials"
  • Unused image credits do not roll over, and there are no refunds
  • Output resolution is not published in pixels; high-resolution mode costs 2 credits per image instead of 1
  • No try-on on your own photo, retouching or product video is listed

Pebblely's plans, for comparison

Lite is $9 a month for 30 images, Basic $19 a month for 200 images with bulk generation, and Pro $39 a month for 500 images. Yearly billing is described as "2+ months free (or about 20% discount)", with Basic at $179 a year and Pro at $379 a year.

How we checked

The verdict

If Pebblely's backgrounds are all you need, Mokker is the nearest swap. If you want the piece shown on a person, Photta and Hues AI both do that; Hues AI adds your own photo as an option, retouching, metal color changes, CAD and sketch renders and video, and lets you try it with free credits before paying.
