Alternatives
Claid.ai alternatives for jewelry sellers
Claid.ai is a capable general product-image platform with upscaling, background removal, AI photoshoots and an API, but it has no jewelry-specific tool. Jewelry sellers look elsewhere when they need pieces shown on a hand, ear or neck, or a studio tuned to metal and stones. The options below are Hues AI for a jewelry-only studio with try-on and retouching, Photta for jewelry on AI models, Pebblely for quick backgrounds with jewelry templates, and Mokker for template scenes. Hues AI is our own product; other figures are as each vendor publishes them.

Hues AI
Our pickBest for Jewelry sellers who want a jewelry-only studio instead of a general one
Every tool is built around jewelry: try-on for rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and sets on a model or your own photo, retouching for dust, glare and stone color, metal color changes, CAD and sketch renders, and product video. Output goes up to 16 MP. New accounts start with 80 free credits after email verification, no card, and credits are a one-time purchase.
Photta
Best for Jewelry on AI hand and body models
Where Claid has general AI Fashion and Photoshoot tools, Photta has a Jewelry Studio and lists AI Jewelry Try-On and AI Jewelry Fashion Models on every paid plan, plus a Jewelry Try-On API. Its credit costs are quoted per finished image at 2K, with 4K costing one more. Plans start at $14 a month for 150 credits.
Pebblely
Best for Fast backgrounds with ready-made jewelry templates
A narrower tool than Claid, focused on AI backgrounds with shadows and reflections, but it has jewelry and necklace categories with templates. It has no free trial; Lite is $9 a month for 30 images and Basic $19 a month for 200 with bulk generation.
Mokker
Best for Template scenes and unlimited photos for a team
Background replacement from 100+ templates, with a jewelry use-case page. The Team plan lists unlimited photos at $45 per user a month billed monthly, or $29 billed annually, for 3 seats. Its API is listed as coming soon.
What Claid.ai does well
Claid covers a lot of ground in one place: upscaling, background removal, AI Photoshoot, AI Fashion, AI Video, AI Edit, outpainting and AI shadows, with an API priced separately. Downloads go up to 64 MP on Essentials and 128 MP on Pro, and its e-commerce page says it preserves tricky edges such as glass, fabric, hair and jewelry.
Why jewelry sellers look for an alternative
- No jewelry-specific tool or category; jewelry appears in a blog guide and as an edge case on the e-commerce page
- An AI Photoshoot costs 4 credits at Standard or 10 at Studio quality, so Essentials' 500 credits cover 50 to 125 photoshoots
- Essentials uploads are capped at 10 MB / 24 MP and generation at standard resolution up to 2K
- Free-trial history is kept for 24 hours
Claid.ai's plans, for comparison
The free tier lists 50 credits for any operation plus 50 API credits; the same pricing page also mentions 5 trial images. Essentials is $15 a month billed monthly or $9 a month billed yearly for 500 credits. Pro is $49 a month billed monthly or $35 billed yearly for 2,000 credits, including 2K and 4K generation. Business is priced on request.

The verdict
Keep Claid if you mainly need upscaling, cut-outs and an API across many product types. For jewelry specifically, Photta adds jewelry on AI models, and Hues AI goes further with try-on on your own photo, jewelry retouching, metal color changes, CAD and sketch renders and video in one jewelry-only studio.
Disclosure: Hues AI is our own product. We've aimed to represent alternatives fairly; where we couldn't verify a detail we've said so.
Frequently asked questions
It can handle jewelry as one product among many, and its e-commerce page says it preserves tricky edges including jewelry. It has no jewelry-specific tool, so try-on, stone color correction and CAD renders need a jewelry-focused alternative.
Essentials includes 500 credits a month. An AI Photoshoot costs 4 credits at Standard quality or 10 at Studio, which works out at 50 to 125 photoshoots a month.
Hues AI and Photta both show jewelry on a person. Hues AI also lets you use your own photo as the wearer and covers watches and full sets.
