Bracelet size chart
To find your bracelet size, measure around your wrist just below the wrist bone and add about half an inch (1.3 cm) for a comfortable fit. Add a quarter to half an inch for a snug fit, or an inch or more for a loose one. Most women wear 6.5 to 7 inch bracelets and most men 7.5 to 8 inches. Bangles are sized differently, by the widest part of the hand.

Measure your wrist
Wrap a flexible tape (or a strip of paper you then lay against a ruler) just below the wrist bone, snug but not tight.

Add your fit allowance
Add a quarter to half an inch for a snug fit, about half an inch to an inch for comfort, and an inch to an inch and a half for a loose, charm-bracelet drape.

Check with one finger
On a finished bracelet, one finger should slide between the bracelet and your wrist. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Sizing a bangle
Tuck your thumb toward your palm and measure around the widest part of the hand, over the knuckles. That circumference, not the wrist, decides the bangle size.
Wrist size versus bracelet size
Some brands label bracelets by the wrist they fit and others by the bracelet's own length. Tiffany's Small, for example, fits a 5.26 to 5.75 inch wrist, while a Mejuri 6.5 inch bracelet is the chain itself and fits a 5.6 to 6 inch wrist. Check which one a size label means before you order.
Frequently asked questions
Most women wear a 6.5 to 7 inch (16.5 to 17.8 cm) bracelet, which fits a wrist of about 6 to 6.5 inches.
Most men wear 7.5 to 8.5 inch bracelets, and 8 inches is the most popular men's length.
